While working for Imagine Media at the 2000 E3 conference in Los Angeles California, Olson realized that all his training as an extreme athlete and TV spokesman were leading him toward his real passion, that of a game programmer and one day video game producer. For years Olson has tinkered with building his own games and mods (developed under the gamer tag - "RR Triton") in private as well as playing as many games as possible.

Having this type of background, he decided the time was right to invest the earnings of his career into one of only two schools in the United States with a degree in Game Design. You guessed it, Full Sail Real World Education in Orlando Florida.  Having a wealth of knowledge about the physical attributes of the human body attained from his Professional Snowboarding career, a higher understanding of vehicle dynamics and internal workings from his side hobby of racing motorcyles and stunt driving, and the art of story telling from his successful acting career, Olson believes he can add value to any project. Maintaining a professional career as an athlete or actor instills discipline, hard work, and most of all the desire to keep learning and always have room for growth. He has successfully transferred this value to his new career as a Technical Game Designer at Rainbow Studios in Phoenix, Arizona. Entering the industry as a Software Engineer has allowed Olson to bring a technical understanding to being a Game Designer, his current role at Rainbow Studios.
