I built the first app Amazon’s leadership used to try models still in development. It became the foundation for the Nova consumer chat product.
Automated evaluations
Regressions caught overnight.
I set up nightly runs that test each new checkpoint and flag a drop in quality before a release candidate is chosen.
Agent benchmarks
Any benchmark, no rewrites.
I designed the layer that lets Amazon’s models take third-party agent benchmarks exactly as published. Its results appeared in Nova’s re:Invent 2025 model card.
Alexa
Hundreds of millions of requests a day, answered faster.
I led a latency program across six teams for Alexa’s language understanding, and co-designed an inference optimization later adopted by Alexa+.
